Correct it does support 2x 2.5" NVMe drives in the first two combination drive bays. I believe those silvery blue cables are for the SAS drive slots.

The drives are covered by Samsung's 5yr warranty. They also have very low TBW and maybe about 1 or 2 full drive writes to date, rated at 10 DWPD. The card in the side expansion slot isn't included (forgot to remove before photo!), the PCIe card by the power supply is a 12Gb/s 8-port SAS...
