Hi all,
I bought 2 of these on eBay from the same guy. One has an NVME namespace defined (/dev/nvme2n1) and looks OK. The other one (/dev/nvme1) does NOT have a namespace. Following a few guides trying to create a namespace does not work -- I get an error (I don't have the drive infront of...
Aren't these usually $5k+ ? Seems like a decent price, although I imagine they'll go lower in a week or two if they don't sell.
Qty 2 available.

I am using an older crosshair VI x370 board and I was poking through the bios and saw NVDIMM options. Is this actually supported & works on such an old non-intel platform? I was intrigued & google isn't returning much....
Anyone know anything about these? Can any OS be installed on these? If so I was thinking these might make a great light server/vm server.
13 available as of my post. No software included so not sure if that makes these unusable without a support contract.
Edit: Looks like these cpus are...
I am interested in one of these boards due to the IPMI functionality & ecc support.
However, looking at their site they look abandoned. I don't see any firmware/download with latest AGESA code. Does anyone have an updated bios for these with newer AGESA code?
Hey Guys,
I've had a "recycled" x370 board (Crosshair VI Hero wifi AC) with 3900x and 128G ddr4 ecc unbuffered for a while, but this board just has too many weird issues.
1) Issues with PCIE Lane Assignment if I manually select "x1" for the last slot, but put a > x1 card in it.
The way it's...
Anyone have experience with this processor? If so, how useful is it for a kvm (proxmox) host or for linux in general? These are one of the options in the cisco ucs-e line for older isr routers as a single slot line card.
If useful I may pick one up. I'm a bit worried it may be totally...
Just starting to look into epyc (zen2 or better) prices and this didn't seem too bad.
What do you guys think? Is there a dual socket motherboard sub $500 for these?
I'm interested in moving most of my desktops to 2.5Gbit (many don't have > x1 slot free) so have been buying some 2.5Gbit nics from $15-$20. This switch should be a nice complement and uplink into your 10Gbit/s infrastructure & has some verrry basic Layer 2 features.
I haven't seen a switch...

If you can find an associate code (google for EVGA associate code) you can get it down to $81. After tax my out the door was $87 & change. Amazon sells the 240mm for $80 and the 280mm for $115 currently.
This has a USB interface so doesn't require motherboard AIO support. There is...
Hey guys,
I needed some "high" write endurance ssds for a project. I picked up 4 x25-e in oracle carriers.
Doing some testing, I have 2 of the 4 ssds with firmware 845c8855 are giving me sustained sequential read of 270MB/s with buffered disk reads (hdparm -Tt) or doing a dd/read from them in...
