Fun with an MD1200/MD1220 & SC200/SC220

Are there different kinds of EMM controllers for MD1200, or only the firmware needs to be updated? Edit: I realize that by "the controller" you mean the HBA on the server. Does an LSI 9207-8e IT mode HBA with MD1200 support 4Kn disks?
