I really didn't want to be the guinea pig on this one :). I actually attempted to find any ECC module locally so I can test it before I pull the plug on an ECC memory, but to no avail. By the way all the Gen 1 and Gen 2 G series do support ECC in the memory controller, but most, if not all AMDs...
