Pardon me if I say something guffy :) I will go from memory, I can get to the box if more info needed

For HBA.. It's X10SL7 MB with onboard SAS2 (6Gbps) via LSI 2308. Which I...
Basically I need some suggestions on what to look for as I have no idea at this point..

Ok, I'm not sure what does it mean "dial into PBX and then dial out". It's essentially what it is, I don't know how it worked with your VOIP provider?
With Asterisk (and I'm not guru by any means) the way I understand this would work is:
1. You dial into Asterisk (your public #)
2. Asterisk...
Power included, this is what he said. No specs/limits listed.
Ok, router is a must then. I have good experience with Mikrotiks, seems like this will do all:
a. 10 ports (for model I'm using). 9 ports enough for 2 servers (2+2 really)
b. VPN to get to IPMI/RDP
c. Port forwarding for services...
I run Asterisk (plain) on CentOS. Learned Linux AND Asterisk together, was fun. At the end, just follow "Asterisk. The definite guide" and you will be fine. There is only handful of config files you will need to touch to add line or tweak dial plan. I did check wrappers (like FreePBX) and didn't...
I'd like to get opinions/suggestions on building minimal colocation hardware set. Minimal is in terms of rack space, our colo center charges $50/U, I'm not ready for 1/2 rack. But can do 2-3 Us. Also, datacenter is 24/7 15 minutes from home, so I'm not sure if spare server need to be in a rack...
Yep. If I remove my door and small frame on right - it will be exactly like this. Just ordered that big door from eBay, thank you for link! It looks like that door will cover whole front and only lights will show through opening, right?
And yes, main frame is the same between pedestal chassis...
Actually, it came with exactly same frame! Tapered part on a right is something I transferred from old frame. I transferred tapered part, hinges for door and door. But it looks identical to what I had. Yes, if I remove this tapered part then right side will work. But I wonder if those aluminum...
Need more help. OK, I bought AUPBEZEL4UF kit.
There was only bezel frame and those handles. Frame was the same as I had (now that I got it I can see). I did turn control panel sideways so it's horizontal. I was able to transfer door (left) and trim (right)
Now if I try to put those metal...
Bought kit to convert chassis from pedestal to rack. Those 2 handles came in a kit. I see how to bolt them on, but I don't understand what those knobs with bolts for?
There is no holes in plastic bezel on my chassis.
I built 2 servers. One is in use now. Idea was to keep second as a spare or on stand-by but I just don't see why would I need it in my current scenario. Hence - it's for sale.
Here is my build thread:
Intel S2600CP/P4000, 2 servers
Basically, I got all parts, built it. Updated BIOS/firmware on...
Don't know.... Honestly - I use only SSD's for last 5 years in anything I have. I have 3.5 spinners only on my home NAS for media/files. Everything else get's SSD. They faster, use less electricity and more reliable.
I don't need much storage so cost is not much of an issue.
