I just can not win... Two sets of replacement rails showed up today. One set had the correct inner rails, the other set... Well I have no idea WTF they are supposed to be used on. In picture, top two are correct, bottom two are wrong inners.

My replacement rails are on the FedEx truck for delivery today, so this is good news they found the right ones.

Yeah, I definitely got the 1U rails made by King Slide. Part number on sticker matches the FRU part list. I sent them a masterpiece drawing showing the difference in the rails (attached).

For those of you that don't get the SAS bracket, attached is some STL and SCAD files to 3D print a mounting plate to serve to support the card. Use M3 screws and 30mm hex standoffs.

Ugh, it's all moot anyway. The rails they sent with the servers will not fit. The standoff pegs on the side of the server don't match up with the slots in the inner rails no matter which orientation... *sigh*

One of my rails seems to be missing a screw on the front that slots into the square hole on the rack post. Does anyone know what this sort of screw is called (see attachment) so I can find a replacement?

I guess you're right. Honestly, I didn't look at their pics that closely as I took more stock in the photos attached on page one, then ordered from my phone later.

Not anticipating getting these cards, I already ordered two SAS 3008 mezz cards. Now I have to decide which direction to go. But waiting is my MO lately. Still need the DDR4 to show up before I can test these.

Yep definitely the SAS 3108 with battery. Opened up the second server, same config. A little bummed they didn't have the rear SATA drive cages as I planned to use those for OS drives and leave the front for all storage. Ah well, I'm sure I can hack something up.

I ordered two of these servers and they showed up today. Only opened up one so far and look what it came with; a mezz card bracket.

Thank you very much. I thought it would be fine, but could not find any info on the rails anywhere. Guess I'm buying some servers now. :)

For the rails that come with this, do you know what the minimum distance on the rails is? My rack is 29" from post to post which is slightly shorter than the server itself, so I wanted to make sure the rails would adjust down short enough to work in my rack before buying.
