Intel Optane 900p SSD 280 GB

Man, I would love to have about 5 of these things. 10 DWPD would be awesome for a mirrored ARC for ZFS like you said, plus I have a few machines that could benefit from a fast cache drive since they are limited on max ram. GLWS.

WiFi 5, so not really an upgrade except mine is 1x1, I think the 8822BE is 2x2. I'll let somebody else have these.

Pretty sure my laptop is still WiFi 4, I'd love that Intel card, but I'm away from it right now to double check.

I knew about the buyouts, I just didn't know if something may have been changed along the way.

    LSI 9270-8i IT mode

I'm thinking about attempting this on my 9270, when we say retail LSI, does one that boots up as AVAGO count? I'm currently running it in RAID10 but would love to use this for a ZFS build.

    HGST Ultrastar He8 HUH728080AL5200 8TB 7200rpm SAS3 $55 or less

Had to message them after 3 offers since they weren't even countering. Didn't get a reply so I sent a 4th offer and about 16 hours after that one expired they sent a counter at 62.99. I probably ticked them off enough starting at $48 lol. $6/TB is what I usually pay on lesser capacity drives.

Both sellers are telling me their brokers don't want to let them go for less than 45 each. That's $7.50/TB.

Help with HP 9207-4i4e needed - firmware update problem. LSI SAS2308

Man, it's looking like I'm in the same boat you were in. I've been trying to crossflash my 9217 for hours now but keep getting upload fails, non operational, and just plain blank -listall results. I hope it's not too much to ask for the "recovery suite" you've stumbled across?

Man, every time I keep needing something and start looking elsewhere, I get a notification about this thread and it has what I need. SFBayZFS, I hope all is well. If/when you do get back to this, I'm interested in the CSE-PTJBOD-CB1 and a set of rails for the 836 I bought off you. I'll pm you...

Help me on where to start.

As we're finishing up things, I've started to fiddle with the ML350p and have ordered a few parts for it. Now that leads me to a couple questions, I've read the P420i is temperamental about 3rd party drives so I plan on throwing in the 9270-8i I have laying around. Is it also the P420i that's...

Help me on where to start.

I've got a couple V2's local to me for pretty cheap on Facebook. I only spent $160 on the HP. The only downside I've read so far is that the P420i is particular when it comes to drives. Hopefully it'll play nice with at least one of the spare laptop drives I've got laying around so I can test...
