It's interesting there's a way to get this going with Proxmox even without help from the BIOS. I wish the same were true for ESXi. Similar story here: SR-IOV always "Enabled/Needs Reboot" : vmware (reddit.com)

I haven't been able to get SR-IOV working on these Tinies. My thought is that the BIOS (motherboard, not just card card) needs to support it and that the Lenovos' BIOS doesn't. Fairly confident about the former (that actual BIOS support is needed), since there is a plethora of search results...
