I had to set 56gbe from web gui section first even for mellanox cables. Default mode was 40gbe. I got my 3m cables off ebay around 45$/each. Dell DAC was around 35 for 7m.

CKyle thanks a lot.Yep that version installed at hpe image 6.7u1 fresh install,on dl380p g8 (downloaded from google search at lenovo support,lol),its need to be formatted from ssh by "fio-format -b 512 /dev/fct0" and then rescan+refresh at vmware web gui.
