I am planing to go for a 9560-16i, because my 2 adaptec 8805 are not supported by Esxi7 and will be replaced by my 9460-16i.
I never got my MB699VP-B working with 9460-16i, but I want to give it a second try.
Does anybody have experience with 9560-16i controller and the 4bay Nvme...

I do not know the layout of Icy Dock backplane
But has anyone connected the Backplane with 9460 or does anybody know an alternative solution for a Backplane?

EDIT: I just saw the two pictures. I have Adaptec 8805 also in an ATX Case, you should consider to mount a fan on the Controller, because the can get realy hot.

The option is hidden under controller management I think.
It is called "Profile" , you have to choose for example PciE4.
At the Moment I am at work and cannot look at it.

I have testet 05-50065-00 Cable on LSI 9460 -16i and cannot find disks 2pcs. (Samsung PM1725a U.2 - 800GB).
Is there something else i have to pay attention to in order to find the disks?
