Hello! I'm currently using NAS with LSI 9361-8i (IBM branded) with 6 hdds and 2xIntel S3700 as Cache Cade 2.0 (2x100GB, RAID0). Should i replace them with Samsung 840 Pros (2x128GB)? 840 Pros are lot faster on write (2x faster, actually), but they don't have PLP. BBU is attached, of course.

Here is some Samsung 840 Pros for those who missed cheap Intel S3700s. Bought 2 for CacheCade setup, 4 still available. I thik, these are nice for booting etc. (and they are faster than S3700 100GB)

Just bought PMC PCA-00364-03-C NVRAM accelerator from this seller. He have some more, i bought cheapest one. Seems to be NV1608 prototype card, mine is without bracket. Will test it later and post screenshots and maybe results. Also bought nice 4 port Intel NIC for my new OPNSense router project.
