Pretty quick turn around on shipping; I received 16x 8GB today, all marked Kingston as seen in the attached. I will hopefully be able to install/test them this weekend and report back my findings.

These worth it at $300 USD if you're willing to put in the work? I already have two converted SX6012 at 3.6.1002, but as someone pointed out earlier VXLAN wasn't supported until 3.6.3004.
Also, if folks are...
I was able to get one of the last two for $225 + shipping. I saw there were 6 competing offers and bumped the offer a bit.
If anyone is able to locate the latest layer 2 or 3 firmware please let us know/PM.
Thanks!
I reached out to the vendor a few days ago about the price, and he said he was raising it just until he was able to get his inventory straight. True to his word he's reposted it at $119 for the sx6012 and has also posted some sx6018 for $169.

No worries; I'm sure I could have phrased my questions/issues better at the beginning. Unfortunately these workstations are about a 10M run from the switch in another room; so at the upper thresholds of supported DAC range. I'd normally go with an AOC, but fortunately these 40G-UNIV...
That's awesome and what I was hoping/expecting when I ordered them. Have you tested these with any host adapters?
I did not, but I'm 99.9% sure the problem persisted through an EOS upgrade/reboot (4.17.6F->4.20.2.1F). I'm assuming/hoping the dangers of eBay struck and I got a bum/dirty set of...
Thanks for the response, but I think you miss understood my question/issue. I'm not trying to mix SRBD and UNIV transceivers. An SRBD to SRBD will link at 40Gfull in either type of the Arista's QSFP+ ports; however, the UNIV to UNIV will only link at 4x10gfull in a 4x10 capable QSFP+ port and...
Attached is an example of what I'm seeing. The best/only information I've been able to find on the 40G-UNIV is the Arista FAQ and this blog (How to Run 40GbE Over Duplex LC MMF Cabling) where they describe both the QSFP SRBD and UNIV:
"The working principle of Cisco QSFP BiDi transceiver is...
What's the functional difference?
The reason I ask is because I have an Arista 7050QX-32-S (24x QSFP+ 4x10G-capable-ports and 8 QSFP+ 40G-only-ports) and recently I picked up some Arista 40G-UNIV transceivers expecting, perhaps niavely, for them to functionally be an SMF/MMF compatable version...
Now I'm really wishing I would have purchased more than one. The 100G QSFP28 AOC actually does connect between a 40G only QSFP+ port of the Arista 7050QX32-S and a Mellanox MCX-345A-FCCT. It wouldn't connect when in the 4x10G QSFP+ forced for 40G nor was it compatible with an Intel XL710-QDA2.
They actually shipped it. Before I purchased I even asked if they could confirm the cable was NOT usable in a QSFP+ port of the Arista 7050QX-32-S, but they said it was compatible and they even offered to test it for me. Now I never heard back on the testing, but received the cable on Saturday...
I was on ebay searching for cheap QSFP+ AOC's for my Arista 7050QX-32-S and I stumbled across this unixpluscom listing for an Arista compatible AOC-Q-Q-100G-10 for $96.75:
