    The noise will be less if use a 1,5 ... 2U enclosure. For example it is - 1.5U and a depth of 326 mm. Or such an assembly of two "half-U" chassis.

    I agree. The requirement that at 144/110 watts protection tripped. But if the brick will be designed on the two boards, the protection triggered only with 288/220 watts. Etc. Thus Any board may be damaged.

    The main thing is to save the width (clearance or aperture) rack. Ideal - is to use the shelf list Accessories rack manufacturer. Then - universal.

    This enclosure is too wide for the installation of "universal" ball slide rails. IMHO, that slide shelves would be less problems.

    What prevents you turn the bracket 90 degrees and fix the chassis like a tower? Then it's a good ventilation and disks will not fall out of the slot.
