have you tried the tape mod?
M1115 is very to use, and most of the time you should mask B5&B6 pins with tape in order to be seen by the mobo
like in the pictures in part 1 of the guide
maybe you can use the LSI tools from here:

I think you should extract SBR file from 9361-8i with megarec.
MegaRec -readsbr <n> <image>
and probably SPD
MegaRec -readspd <n> <image>
9361-8i firmware is on Broadcom website.
Attached megarec for sas3 cards.
Tested on M5210.
Can you please extract the SBR and SPD from your 9361-8i card and post them here?

It came with 24.12.0-0033 fw and the upgrade process to the latest IBM fw 24.12.0-0039 went fine.
