I was also in contact with SM regarding the IPMI problem and they told me i could RMA it because of the bug. no word about the expired warranty (sent them the SN). but be aware, only the international support mentioned this possibility, NL support lost no word on this.

Just got the information that they shipped out a replacement.i hope this one is fully working. If IPMI on yours is also not working i would suggest to contact the seller. nowhere in the ebay listing was mentioned that ipmi is not working.

Mine has arrived yesterday (shipping to Europe) it is working fine with 32GB ECC RAM. But unfortunately the IPMI is dead - i'm already in contact with the seller hopefully the will send a new one

Hello, yes is still available. I bought it used on ebay about half a year ago. I've verified the warranty with EMC Support and it is still active till 05.2017
