    FYI, judging by eBay prices over the last 4 months or so, 8180's are worth around $180-$250 and 8280's are $300-$450.

    I would look at 8168's. Not quite the frequency you want but they are now cheap and lots of cores. Or get 6244's if you really want frequency.

    Mainly interested in 2666, 2933, and 3200 MHz, but also interested in 2400 and 2133. I have immediate need for 2933 (x48) and 3200 (x8), but interested in all for my projects. RDIMM or LRDIMM works, but only RDIMM for 3200 MHz. PM me with what you have and what price is reasonable for you.

    Why not just get a Dell R640/R740, HP DL360/DL380 G10, Lenovo SR630/SR650, or Cisco C220/C240 M5? Pretty cheap on eBay. Ice lake is overpriced.
