That's perfect thanks @Ezy (that what I was pretty much hoping :)).
So on SAGE with 80 lines CPU, it's full 5 PCIE - x16 slots, minus two x4 (2 x M2 Gen5 if used), isn't it?
Thank you @RolloZ170 you are reading my thought, I was about to ask of drawbacks of W790 except of number of memory channels when running QYFS.
Also wold ASRock W790 WS R2 works with QYFS? I see it's mentioned in spreadsheet just not sure about R2.
Thanks.
I mean in terms of number PCIE slots, judging by block diagram ACE has 5 - PCIE slots, two of which has switch and could work as PICE x16/x0 or PCIE x8/x8 . for me it's meter I could stick extra x8 nic without PCIE riser/splitter card.
I tried few of them. Wasn't sure if gigabyte removed ES macrocodes from new firmware.
Also somebody claimed here https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/gigabyte-server-motherboard-bios-recovery-jumper.40812/#post-452184 that at least it give him video output.
And yes I flash them both...
Hi @RolloZ170, thanks a ton for reply.
Nope. I have only one at the moment. Considering to buying one from somebody you know on ebay.
That what I'd like to figure out. But it looks like to do so I have to get MB or CPU. And sine CPU is cheaper. I think I'll get it first after Christmas.

Happy Christmas,
Stupid question, gygabyte MS33-AR0 ("BIOSVersion" : "R07") - latest I'm afrade, xeon ES QYFS .
Is no POST nor video Output = dead cpu?
Some activity on CPU sensors, if I read it right, but feels like it's just MB hickup.
Hi Folks ,
@spyroot I wondering how did you manage to enforce F0 update on MS33-AR0?
Seems I've got similar case MS33-AR0 but ES QYFS cpu,
and:
"SmbiosType" : "Type 0 BIOS Information",
"Vendor" : "GIGABYTE",
"BIOSReleaseDate" : "06/21/2024",
"BIOSVersion" : "R07"
updating it...
also something like this:
https://c-payne.com/products/mcio-pcie-gen5-device-adapter-x8-x16
might convert mcio to pcie slot. Not sure if 2 x8 mcio would work as single x16 pci though. But mico x8 to pci x8 (mechanical x16) should work in theory.
I have to say, that's an awesome thread, lots of...
