Bumping to report that I'll finally test Q071 (R0 MCC, 32c64t) and the ASRock W790 WS in the next month or so. I sold my ASUS W790 board; don't need two. The ASRock and its VRM is one I'd like to keep for overclocking the W-2500 series at some point, or server use with Q071 if its idle power...

10 Dec 24: Final edit: BCLK OC doesn't work outside of the usual ~108MHz norm and appears to impact GPUs. This board does not support MCC R0 Xeons (e.g. Q071). Essentially, it's good to only run a D0 CPU; it's a better use of time to get a Gigabyte C741 board. At least those also work with...
