    That's the one I used. I'm not sure if you use an ip from another vlan that it will work correctly. You could give it a try and let us know.

    Assuming multiple VLANs each with their own DHCP server I set the ip of the switch(s) to be in the subnet of the default vlan.

    I don't think you can choose the vlan for the dhcp request. I set each switch of mine to have a static ip.

    I had an identical problem with my Horaco - it was configured with dhcp and vlans. After a time the Horaco was requesting an ip from one of the vlans and losing connectivity. Setting the Horaco to not using dhcp and having a static ip cured the problem.

    I guess you tried the reset button? Flashing wrong device is my greatest fear as I have both 8+1 and 4+2 in my network.

    Firmware Version 1.9 is available for the ZX-SWTGW218AS. Does anyone have 1.9 for the ZX-SWTG124AS ?

    An Arctic TP-2 0.5mm thermal pad between the copper block and case with a little paste between the cpu and copper block reduced my N100 from mid 40's to mid 30's

    My 1.3 backup wouldn't restore on 1.7 so I re-entered my settings. I always try to make notes and save screenshots of my configurations. BIOS updates have drummed that into me!

    Poking in the firmware I can see that there is a "production test login" at /login_ft.cgi I've not delved any further though.
