    $29 Embedded Epyc 3151 ASRock Rack EPYC3151D4I-NL

Ok, i'm an idiot. Plugged it into a monitor with a standard VGA cable and now it works. I swear I tried that before but I must of used the same adapter but just with a different monitor. (not sure why it has an issue on these boards but other boards with AST2500 chips work perfectly fine) So...

    $29 Embedded Epyc 3151 ASRock Rack EPYC3151D4I-NL

I have and it didn't work, but i'll try again. My testbench uses a VGA -> HDMI adapter that's worked on everything I've used it on. Including servers with the same AST2500 chip.

    $29 Embedded Epyc 3151 ASRock Rack EPYC3151D4I-NL

I've got two of these now. The first one I bought on June 2nd, so just before this thread as I paid $25. It worked fine but I couldn't get any output on the VGA port. I spoke to the seller and they sent me another one for just the cost of shipping (so like $12). However, new one does the same...

Lenovo Thinkcentre/ThinkStation Tiny (Project TinyMiniMicro) Reference Thread

Recently picked up a M75q Gen2 and cannot for the life of me get Proxmox to use the right realtek driver (the old 8169 issue). I realize this isn't a specific issue with the M75q but anyone have any thoughts? Like it will load the 8169 driver during proxmox install. I can't even get beyond...

    EXPIRED Hynix DDR5 16GB ECC SO-DIMM 4800MHz (Dell branded) $56.40

I took a shot on a couple sticks for my laptop (HP Probook 445 Gen 11 with the Ryzen 7 7735u) and it worked without issue. HP documentation doesn't say that it's supported but it works. Cheapest 32GB upgrade I could find during these crazy times. Thanks for posting @Weapon

Lenovo Thinkcentre/ThinkStation Tiny (Project TinyMiniMicro) Reference Thread

You are correct though, it was the HP that they tested with the Mushkin 96GB kit. I would be surprised if the P360 Tiny is any different from the Ultra.

Lenovo Thinkcentre/ThinkStation Tiny (Project TinyMiniMicro) Reference Thread

I snagged a P360 Ultra recently to upgrade my mini-homelab (previously a M90q). Just wanted to leave this here for anyone looking as it's something I was looking for before purchasing. P360 Ultra's don't support non-binary DIMM's as of BIOS S0FKT29A (latest as of this post). I purchased a 96GB...

P360 Ultra, a couple M920q’s or something else?

Just to answer this question for you and anyone looking, they don't support non-binary DIMM's as of BIOS S0FKT29A (latest as of this post). I purchased a P360 Ultra and a 96GB kit of Nexen DDR5-4800 and it failed to post with 3 short beeps and 1 long (DRAM memory error). I tried various...

    Homelab Hypervisor server builds

My goto for anyone that needs a cheap homelab is Xeon v4. I recently picked one of these up for my backup node, 40 cores, 16GB ram and 10Gb NIC's.. hard deal to pass up. (I added another 16GB and swapped the 2660 v3's for 2630L v4's) However, I agree. EPYC is getting to be insanely cheap. H11...

    ITX Build Options for ESXi

According to the thread I linked earlier, the lenovo tiny's are still coming with them. Just my personal opinion but I feel like ITX is in a slightly better situation, as there are tons more options. (e.g. server grade, gaming and even SoC) whereas the tiny's are limited to one or two lenovo...

    ES Xeon Discussion

Randomly picked up a Asus Z11PA-D8. Any thoughts on a ES/QS around 24c/48t or 26c/52t that might work in it?

    ITX Build Options for ESXi

Not sure if it will meet your requirements but check out the Lenovo tiny pc's. There's and entire thread here on it. I threw one together a few months back but haven't really found a use for it. (Idea was for a portable system I could take somewhere that had pfsense/opensense and a handful of...
