for some reason you can get better pricing on 14TB SAS then the 12TB now. I just got a bunch of 14tb Seagate X14s from eBay for $115 to fill out the remaining bays.
I can only speak on the Dell T7910/20s, HP Z8G4 and Lenovo P920 but they are very nice units and well built. The P920 is overboard build quality at the cost of it being heavy. I would say that they all have their own quirks but I liked the HP the least.

should have done my research first those NA-RC7s are rated at 2.5w max and the FAN-0158L4's are typically at 11.28w., it's a wonder I didn't start a camp fire.
