    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

Only two listed on ebay in the UK cheapest is 400 at the moment. most recently sold one went for 528GBP buy now. People must be desperate or something. Do you think 300 shipped on here would considered "a good deal"?

Crazy, so would listing it for 340 or something on here be considered okay?

Does anyone have any idea what a fair prices is for a Samsung PM863a 4TB with 97% health? I have one to sell but ebay is suggesting a list price of ₤475 which seems excessive. When I have an idea I will be listing it on here.

Its worth doing a bios update but you could also have ended up with a bad cpu. As far as I'm aware non of the bios updates added new cpu support but I don't think you have any thing to lose from trying.

When I purchased my first p330 it came with all aluminium heatsink, I ended up buying a brand new copper one with fan directly from Lenovo a while back because I couldn't find a second hand one.

I have one for sale in the UK, it has the copper heatsink and 65w fan, i5 35w (ether a 9600t or 9500t) CPU, riser card, Nvidia t600 with correct bezel and a brand new 135w PSU from Lenovo. Also has both WiFi antennas. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested, happy to sell it bare...

Thanks, I will give it a go on some machines that I have. Gone are the days of advanced bios options being available with a few magic key presses, very sad times. Pretty sure I have a P330 laying around so I will give it ago on that as it would be great to have a undervolt set in the bios. I...

Would this potentially allow for unlocking undervolting options on the P340 Tiny? Also would there be the possibility of enabling Above 4G Decoding and Resizable BAR? Last question, is this relatively safe or could the machine end up a paper weight? Thanks in advance!

Yes, from what I remember I would get longer turbo duration on the 5650GE. Been a while since I've used the machine for much but I just leave it plugged in to a 135w adapter since I had a few laying around. Probably not worth buying a new PSU for it though in my opinion.

Samsung pm863 1.92tb sata 100% health £110.93 each, 2 available. I'm not sure if this is a good deal but considering storage prices at the moment it seems okay compared to the second hand nvmes going for more than double per tb. I don't know anything about these drives and firmware so hopefully...

Sounds like you got a faulty riser. Only the Nvidia gpu should have worked with that particular riser though. Seems like you always need to have a x4 riser for x4 cards.

Possibly, you might be able to extract some information from the bios to see if the microcode for other cpu's are there.

I get a slight bump in gaming fps when using a 170w psu with my m75q gen2, not much though since I have a vega 8 igpu.

The cheaper one you tried is for the Tiny4's. The correct part numbers for the m90q gen 3 are: PCIEx4 riser = 5C50W00909 PCIEx8 riser = 5C50W00910 or 5C50W00933 PCIEx16 riser = 5C50W00933 or 5C50W00910 I'm not sure if you have to use different risers depending on which kind of card you are...

Its a extra power source for the thunderbolt card or one of the B2B slots I believe. I purchased the cable when Lenovo had it on their parts sale, part number is 01YW371. Never got around to using it as I ended up getting a P340. Actually it might be for Sunix Tiny5 4 COM card (part number...

Looking again that's full system current limit so I actually have no idea why it would be lower, a guess would be it's slightly lower due to thermal concerns.

I think that's what is made available to the CPU from the PSU, the 65w models have official GPU support so it makes sense it could be lower for those machines by my understanding.

So it's imgur that is blocked in the UK, we have a new rule that you have to prove you are over 18 on sites that might contain adult content so that must be why. If you check the link I sent it has some information about board id straps for the tiny 5's. Changing the resistors to make the board...

CPU based yes but the firmware may also have its own power limits that aren't present on the tiny 4's explaining why the m710q can sustain boost longer. Most 9th gen intel's throttle around 100c tjmax so if your temperature is lower than that changing the cooler won't make a difference.
