    Tyan S8030GM2NE

@RolloZ170 whats the procedure for getting Tyan to replace the 32MB chip with the 64MB chip for motherboard? Do I need to contact the supplier for the board (it's been more than 4 years) or Tyan directly? Do they happen to just replace the chip or send out a Rev 2 of the motherboard?

    GBASE-T transceivers performance with NBASE-T - Marvell 88x3300 v/s Aquantia AQS-107

I am having what seems to be the same issue. I am using 2 Wiitek SFP-10G-T-100 SFP+ modules plugged into an ICX-6610. The ICX-6610 sees 10G from its side of the SFP+ modules. Given this setup: Endpoint A (10G Negotiated) <-> Wiitek Module in Port 1(ICX6610) <-> Wiitek Module in Port 2...

    fs.com 100m SFP-10G-T100 / ubiquiti UACC-CM-RJ45-MG

I am also have the same issue using the UACC-CM-RJ45-MG on an ICX-6610. On restart of the switch the sfp port using this module fails to power on and I have to unplug and replug the module to get the port to work. Is the WiiTek 100m the SFP-10G-T-S? The part number on Wiitek's website shows it...

Brocade ICX Series (cheap & powerful 10gbE/40gbE switching)

I got these because they were supposedly built very well and ran cooler then other SFP+ modules. Any recommendations for modules that meet those same criteria but also don't have this reset issue?

Brocade ICX Series (cheap & powerful 10gbE/40gbE switching)

I have the ICX-6610 with two Ubiquiti's SFP+ to RJ45 Adapter (UACC-CM-RJ45-MG). I am able to see 10G supported and the link works fine until I reboot the switch. On reboot of the switch the two SFP modules fail to turn on and I have to physically unplug and replug them in to get them to work. Is...

I am selling 2 1 Epyc 7502 QS 100% working. SKU is 100-000000054-04 (Non Vendor Locked or lockable). Bought them here in STH last year but just never got around to using them in server so they've been stored in their anti-static wrapping. They both have been fully tested to work 100% (via...

    SC-826A Issues

So I'm migrating my 12 SATA hardrives to a new setup with a CSE-826 and SC826A. Since the motherboard has many SATA ports I decide to connect a SAS to 4 sata break out cable to port 1 on the SC826A and two normal SFF8087 to SFF8087 cables to an LSI-9218i card for a total of twelve drives. On...

    Are Tyan Boards Any Good?

Does the S8030GM2NE support just one stick of ram with the epyc 7002 series? Seems like the Supermicro H12 boards do..

    CSE-216 with EPYC 7002

@i386 Do you do anything special in such a config like pull out the two middle fans that normally would be for the cpus? Or maybe configure the fan curve to be lower rpm's for those internal fans? Or do the internal fans simply not speed up and are independent of the active heatsink fans?

    CSE-216 with EPYC 7002

I just purchased two CSE-216 chassis with air shrouds and internal fans for use with TYAN S8030GM2NE motherboards and EPYC 7502's. As far as cooling is it ok to use the Supermicro passive heatsinks or should I go with active ones? Here are the passive heatsinks and active heatsinks with fans...
