There was a reset bug with the old AM4-based Ryzen iGPUs. If the iGPU was passed through to a VM and the VM crashed, then the iGPU was no longer usable until the computer was restarted. Do the AM5 Ryzen still have the problem? Has anyone been able to test this yet?

With the Epyc 4004 I see fewer restrictions and more PCIE lanes. The CPUs aren't that expensive either, but the boards are. Would the ProArt B650-Creator (ProArt B650-CREATOR｜Motherboards｜ASUS USA) be an option? Here I could, for example, install two Quadro P600s plus an HBA.

Difficult, I would say the idle consumption is most important to me. This should not be over 35W in Idle. Price-wise is difficult because I don't want to rule out something completely, but not more than about $800 (board, CPU, RAM). IPMI is not absolutely necessary.

It's for homelab. It should be for an ESXi-NFS Datastore for VMs. I will need a maximum of 512GB so 1TB will be fine, that the pool is not too full. The problem is, that ist must bei M2.PCIe or with a adapter for M2.PCIe, because all PCIe slots are full! :(
