I've currently installed an 80mm fan without any issues, using the micro 4-pin to standard 4-pin adapter cable he provided. And I think you should set it to power saving mode. Because this will reduce its idle power consumption. /usr/bin/cpupower -c all frequency-set -g powersave- Rokkie
