Just wanted to update on my "not booting from SATA" issue with my BKHD-1264-NAS board: Apparently it only supports UEFI and not legacy, and won't even show HDD's that are legacy bootable. After reinstalling Proxmox the SATA drives worked fine (but I had to wipe them in the process). I had...
Darn! My next step would also be to try booting from USB. I found the manufacturer's product page: BKHD-1264-NAS but even the user's manual did not help me, I didn't see anything I could be doing wrong.
I also am trying to get a N100 BKHD-1264 NAS board to boot from my existing SATA3-SSD (I don't have any M.2 drives). No luck so far, in BIOS I see it, but it won't display it in the boot device menu (F7 when booting).
Did you have any luck? I'd hate to buy an M2 drive just to boot the thing.
