    X10QBI and v3/v4 cpus (e.g. supermicro sys-4048b-trft)

I'm pulling my hair out with this server. Running MEM1 rev 1 RAM daughterboards. For whatever reason, running TrueNAS with a 40G network connection I'm getting speeds that are abysmal. R/W coming in around 450 MB/s. Using all the same hardware except the X10Qbi motherboard on an older...

    Router recommendation - wired only

We're growing and so is our network, so we would rather go with a more robust router. Any suggestions would be great.

    Router recommendation - wired only

I've been using an Asus RT-AC68U (flashed from a TM-AC1900) running Asuswrt-Merlin firmware and the firmware is updated regularly, however I feel like it could be a bit of bottleneck since it's so old. I've been using this router for around 14 years or so. ReturnedSword mentioned, "Any...

    Router recommendation - wired only

Can some one recommend a powerful router that is under $600 (ideally less than $250)? I don't mind if it's used. We have a 24 bay server with 1G, 10G, 40G, and 100G. We have 1000 up and down fiber internet. We don't use wifi, but we could always turn it off in the router. I'm wondering if I...

    X10QBI and v3/v4 cpus (e.g. supermicro sys-4048b-trft)

Not sure about the latter part, but Supermicro updates BIOS' enough in my experience that it could definitely happen. I have older SM boards with a newer a BIOS date. And some with bifurcation, too!

    X10QBI and v3/v4 cpus (e.g. supermicro sys-4048b-trft)

It seems there is no bifurcation on this motherboard and I'm a bit shocked. I hope there is a new BIOS version that eventually adds it.

    X10QBI and v3/v4 cpus (e.g. supermicro sys-4048b-trft)

@angel_bee You mentioned messaging you about cheap-ish fan controllers, I'd like to give it go. Please send some info over when you can, I have a new (used) X10QBI and keeping it quiet is really important to me.
