apparently 1MB is too large to attach now so here's a link https://fohdeesha.com/data/other/FMDELPX05SRB384Y_AU0F_NS.zip
the file in the zip was pulled directly from the compellent ISO, I imagine it'll prolly have some weird compellent header data you'll need to trim out if you're gunna flash...
it can be extracted from a compellent installer ISO which a few people here have I think, I have a couple but they're a few years old. what's the exact disk model / dell PN?
sure it's possible, common use case, as long as you understand each port breaks out to 4x completely independent 10gb links. they won't link at 40gbe. on top of that, sometimes I remember a weird issue where they wouldn't link up after being configured until the icx was rebooted. then they'd...
what commands are complaining about a missing license? There's an "ADV" license which unlocks some advanced l3 stuff, but it's only VRFs and tunnels basically. everything else is included in the base system. IUf you need the VRFs and tunnels, follow the i2c licensing instruction at the end of...
checkpoint did not code them correctly, maybe on purpose, to avoid people being able to (easily) code optics for checkpoint hardware - it's probably looking for these "wrong" values. The type field bit is definitely wrong, if these really are 10gb adapters.
These are dual rate 1gbps / 10gbps...
I see you're blocking off a way larger RAM area via memmap, did you try with the originally suggested 14M? Also are you sure the offset you're using for your bl7 is correct? I wouldn't think the header siZe would change between versions but who knows. the:

is this what you need? https://fohdeesha.com/data/other/lb6m.1.2.0.18.img
you can also flash it to the more stable/featureful brocade firmware - https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/turbocharge-your-quanta-lb6m-flash-to-brocade-turboiron-big-update.17971/
I don't recognize that firmware string, but I think you're probably fine. just be sure to have backups in case they do die. As for the flash error, you can't flash these through raid cards like the perc in their pretend HBA mode, you need something with direct vanilla access. It could be proxmox...
so after some more digging IBM/Lenovo never had this model, or any PX02 for that matter, so it's not IBM (backed up by the fact vendor does not show IBM, like some PX05's have). I've tracked down and carved out the IBM custom firmwares for the PX05 series, so those will be fixed and flashable...
the only way to know is to see what firmware version they're on, and see if it's before or after the bug was fixed.Another way to tell is to check if the drive has more than 70,000 power on hours - if it does, and it still works, it's on fixed firmware. smartctl -a /dev/sdX should show both...
