Lenovo Thinkcentre/ThinkStation Tiny (Project TinyMiniMicro) Reference Thread

I bought an m75q1 for use as a NAS with ECC memory. Everything is fine here, except I also want to connect my PCIe ASM1166 card over the m2 a+e to PCIe adapter I bought on Aliexpress: To my surprise, even though the LEDs on the card light up and turn off in usual fashion, it doesn't get...

Anyone tried soldering PCI slot onto m75q?

Out of curiosity, do you happen to have schematics for Gen5 as well? I wonder if the issues with ECC there are also down to data lanes not connected, or perhaps it's a matter of JEDEC timings missing and obtaining some particular, compatible sticks...

Lenovo Thinkcentre/ThinkStation Tiny (Project TinyMiniMicro) Reference Thread

Every found an answer to that question? M75q gen2 continues to receive BIOS updates, I wonder if anyone eventually got it working with ECC. EDIT: well, few minutes later, another member solved this myster once and for all: the ECC alens on gen2 are not connected...

Anyone tried soldering PCI slot onto m75q?

Do you have some source on the ECC signals not being connected on the gen2? So far all I found was that the system wouldn't boot with ECC memory modules, which could indicate JEDEC issue with the timings rather than ECC signals not being connected. Otherwise the ECC modules should just work...
