This one runs for years now ;)
I'm just looking for a single cable instead of those endless Adapter "snake" builds. (and yes, IT will Always become 2x/2x)
I have a PM1733 U.2 lying around, and I’m thinking about using it for a “big-little” server project. I haven’t found a “Y-cable” or “breakout cable” yet. Where can you even get those? one drive, two hosts via NVMe U.2?
It should exist, as this one exist...
Maybe your x16 riser has more signal loss to use it with another adapter plug (the sxm socket) which adds additional loss and then accumulated loss is just to much.
If it's not listed in the specs, then they'll only do 1gb and 100gb.
There exists backwards compatible transceivers, but if not listed in the specs, they'll not do 40gb.
