When I was browsing the internet, I found the first retail motherboard for Icelake xeon.
This mobo supports LGA4189 and 8ch DDR4 3200 Rams.
CPU supports PCI4.0.
MAX TDP of CPU seems to be 270W.
Is it time to get Icelake Xeon?
I'm excited about this and 2nd gen optane ssd.
I got a 64-core EPYC 7H12.
I compare it with Intel Xeon-W3275M former my workstation CPU.
First, the Xeon-W 3275M has omitted the multi-socket function and got 64-lane PCI-E. On the other hand, EPYC has 128-lane PCI-E and has high performance, so both are very attractive CPUs as Workstation...
I built a compact supercomputer...
CPU - Xeon Platinum 8173M
Motherboard - Asrock rack EPC621D4I-2M

GPU - Nvidia TITAN V
Storage - Intel DC P4510 and KIOXIA XG6 M.2
Here’s what I built this week.
My goal is to make a compact and powerful system.
