I aquired a Ruckus R650 Access point and no matter what i do I cant factory reset it. No access to the Webui. No SSH access. It wont pull DHCP
I opened it up, soldered some pins onto the console port connections and I can get to serial console however...

Is it possible the firmware is so old that nvme drives just dont work. I've never done firmware updates on a supermicro backplane
I am just truly at a loss cant even get this drives to...
Ok. to add to the I'm going insane theme here I just absolutely cannot get this supermicro bpn-sas3-826el1-n4 backplane to connect NVME drives. SAS and SATA drives work fine, no problem. But nvme disks dont even show up at all.

IPMI still says older version R04.
Even though the system will post now the bios update through the ipmi still just hangs on 99%.
But at least I can do the bios update in EFI shell now. I have experienced this issue before with other motherboards that just wont update over ipmi
Ok. I think i've resolved this mystery.
I cant believe it but after removing ram several times i thought i would remove the CPU and reseat it. a tiny red piece of fabric lint was in the socket. removed it carefully with tweezers and the system will now post.
The bios did still not update, its...
I do. ryzen 7600x with 2x sticks of ddr5 4800 ecc udimm from micron. I've also tried a stick of gskill 6000 16gb.
the system did post before attempting this update. made sure ram was in the right slot. ryzen memory training can be a pain sometimes.
I also have a gigabyte MC62-G40 and I do remember having to scroll down to actually press the flash button but that just doesnt happen here. Progress bar just stuck at 99%.
I've tried chrome and firefox. In the past I have had weird problems doing these kind of updates using firefox ESR on...
I believe that I initially did not select the RBU file but instead the image.bin in the SPI_UPD folder. But in subsequent attempts to update I have selected the rbu file and it gets stuck at 99%.
I have tried updating the bios with the system both on and off
Hello everyone.
I have a gigabyte MC13-LE1 in which I went to update the bios on and seem to have bricked the system. I was able to update the BMC firmware over ipmi. When I went to update the bios over the ipmi the update just stuck at 99% and never recovered. I waited over an hour. Since then...
ok. I officially need help. can someone provide me with the dell firmware for the Dell 71C1T. I dont think they're available for download on dell's website. I've flashed alot of other mellanox cards in the past so I attempted this flash without saving the original firmware and it did not go...
Well i think i did a bad thing. I was doing some configuring in the bios getting ready to deploy one of my supermicro X11SDV-8C-TP8F motherboards and I forgot that these are 80w chips so I did not put a fan on the heatsink. It ran like this for 3-5 minutes when i started to smell something...
Has anyone been able to flash the bios on these datto boards to an asrock bios? I was able to update the ipmi using socflash but instantflash in the bios does not find any file to update to when i try to do the bios update there.
