    EU Gigabyte Mainboard MC12-LE0 Re1.0 AMD B550 AM4 Ryzen

This list is only populated after a successful POST, so it's probably the components installed prior to the board being removed from service. I very much hope you did not pay 700€ for this

    EU ASROCK RACK B565D4-V1L

For that price I would just buy a new Ryzen 5 5500 (but no ECC).

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

According to the eBay images, video, and text policy on attaching photos to feedback, I need your permission to use these photos. Would you grant me and other people who ordered these SSDs and received hats permission to use your photos for eBay reviews? :D Also, has anyone else left feedback...

They definitely will not do that, their liability ends when the package is delivered to the shipping forwarder. This is not the first time someone has scammed a buyer internationally. Any reasonable government has procedures for claiming a refund of customs/duties paid if you provide proof...

I messaged Disctech and asked why they didn't inform anyone over eBay. They replied "The message was sent with the refund. Did you get that?" I checked, and the number of clicks it required me to view the reason was truly infuriating, absolutely user-hostile UX from eBay. Disctech stated...

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

Sometimes it is genuinely possible. Last year I ordered two unbranded PCIe SSDs from a large eBay seller: They were listed at $8 each and the item description was just some random numbers from the PCB with zero search engine hits. They turned out to be new old stock Seagate Nytro 2TB SSDs that...

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

They had multiple chances over the past days to correct the mistake in a way I would find acceptable: 1. Don't restock more of the item at the incorrect price 2. Communicate to buyers that it was a mistaken price and you are cancelling their order 3. ASK THEM if they want to receive swag or not...

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

The voucher is worthless and they know it. Have you seen their prices? If they think the price you paid is too good you get a hat and the possibility to ask for a $50 voucher instead of the product you ordered. This clearly happens with some regularity because they have a template and a cheap...

So multiply that by 8, and you get 0.488kg. Boxes and padded envelopes don't weigh nothing, so given this forwarder is known for accurately recording weight and dimensions, what they received cannot possibly contain the ordered quantity of SSDs. This is also excluding a caddy, which is metal and...

I don't know about your JC experience, but having shipped many packages with them, they rarely get it this wrong. They charge by weight or dimensional weight, and what they record is correct (+/-15%) compared to what arrives at your door. FedEx might take it from the shipping label created by...

    8. But according to their own website, each drive/caddy weighs 1.5 pounds (0.68kg) so the package weight is less than one. If you account for packaging weight, 450g is basically a small cardboard box empty. The datasheet of the SSD states the weight is 130g, so even if they didn't ship caddies...

0.45kg, 1.77 dm3, (23-3-30 cm) I don't know what's in the packages, but it ain't SSDs. Probably just an invoice in a FedEx mailer box. Very interested to hear if @foureight84 receives drives since that package weight seems believable.

https://www.wto.org/english/tratop_e/cusval_e/cusval_info_e.htm In the case of a refund, the price paid is $0.00 Customs can argue about the market value of the goods, but the worst case is that you would pay VAT on the original amount.

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

AFAIK, you don't pay VAT on vibes, you pay it on what you paid. If that happens to be $0.00 because the seller refunded you, lucky day. If customs has an issue with it, show them your bank statement. +1

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

Anyone using a shipping forwarder, remember to modify your booking with the updated invoice. In the unlikely chance that the package is delivered, it would be very sad if you paid VAT on free drives. IANAL, but I think the seller would also be within their rights to provide a shipping label and...

Apparently the weight shown in shipment facts is whatever weight the shipper declared when creating the label, the actual package weight can be different. Weird that FedEx doesn't update the shipment details to reflect the actual package weight after the origin scan. Hopefully some US buyers...

    Enterprise SSD "small deals"

I'm not accusing them of operating a scam, but a mistaken listing that's actually something else in their inventory system, entirely possible. We'll have to see what arrives. 0.23kgs is not even two drive caddies...

No one's eBay rating is worth the $60k+ this is going to cost them. The shipment weight is all messed up too, definitely not multiple SSDs in an envelope.
