Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 Review Portably Powerful

It sure did. ThinkPad T460, Dell Precision 7510, etc. There may be others.

Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 Review Portably Powerful

It's certainly technically possible. For a brief time, some had SATA Express drives, which was essentially the consumer version of U.2 with 2 lanes instead of 4.

BIG AI Cluster Little Power the 8x NVIDIA GB10 Cluster

Got to see these in person at the STH studio before this article went live. Was not expecting the whole cluster to be so quiet under load. Now you just need to acquire the other OEM versions to get a photo of all 8 together. :)

    Old DDR2 RAM worth anything?

Those FBDIMMs have been essentially worthless for more than a decade now.

    [Fs] 50 - Micron 64gb 7200 2rx4

Seeing as you're flipping all this stuff anyway, maybe figure out how to better navigate B2B deals? Not really buying that given you had no issues with PayPal in previous posts and indicated that you're a business, which is against the rules anyway.

Evading taxes. eBay and PayPal will send tax forms (1099-K) to the IRS.

Large rackmount case needed - ideas or supply

Given you have what sounds like a proprietary motherboard, adapting existing chassis is going to be tricky. If you don't mind a bunch of DIY, maybe starting with something like this could work? 5U DIY Audio Instrument Amplifier Rackmount Chassis RF Case Box black 10-19149B | eBay

CWWK 6 port 8505 fanless temps

Temperature jump is normal and expected. It will also not heat up immediately. You still have nothing to be concerned with.

CWWK 6 port 8505 fanless temps

74C isn't an issue, nor is static discharge to the chassis. You don't have anything to worry about really.

    SC846 stock fans or upgrade

Most of the variants differ in aspects other than cooling. RPM/CFM sounds about right for those San Ace fans though. I would go look at one of my 846 chassis, but they too are in colo and that's 30 miles away. As for swapping them, yes, that should be possible. Probably not necessary, however...

    SC846 stock fans or upgrade

Colo? Stock fans. All those Noctuas you've seen do a pitiful job of cooling compared to the ones Supermicro ships. You should not need to add more even with a high TDP CPU since that will be similar to a standard dual CPU setup. Make sure you have an adequate HSF however.

SuperMicro CSE-846 Backplane question (SAS Topology)

You omitted what HBA you have, which is arguably the most important component in this and likely what is causing such behaviour.

    Onlykey FIDO2 and password manager?

Pretty much anything FIDO2 will work and that specific product is not your only option. Yubikey is arguably the most popular one and what I use personally, including for my job. Just be aware that not everything will support it. I still have some TOTP tokens (one I've been using for 20+ years...

FS: Lenovo Intel Tower Workstation Collection

Zelle preferred as PayPal fees add up. Will also entertain trades since I like new toys and rotate through hardware regularly, though currently not in need of a whole lot. I think my reputation should help: Heatware Local pickup available in Phoenix. Will ship internationally. Another thread...

    New Server Hauler

I might have curbed the wheels the first time parallel parking a RHD car when overseas. You get used to it pretty quickly. I think the biggest annoyance I have is the fact that stalks on the wheel are not consistent. Some RHD vehicles shift things and they are the same as LHD (so, lights/turn...

    New Server Hauler

You certainly are versed on this and sounds like you might have some ties back to Japan too. :) I found mine at a regular dealership, not one specializing in exports. Just browsed Goo-net (グーネット) and found one I liked. It was a bit of an impulse buy. I've done worse on eBay though! I know...

    New Server Hauler

Fortunately I haven't forgotten all the Japanese I took in uni and can still read enough kanji to be able to look things up in a dictionary. It was in Chiba, but really the outskirts of Tokyo since it was registered in Ichikawa (市川), at least recently. Don't have the full service history, so...

    New Server Hauler

Unfortunately they were pulled before it was loaded onto the ship. I know what the original plate number is from the export paperwork (and service records) however and have thought about getting a replica though. At least where I live, there are no front license plates, so, can legally run with...
