P360 Ultra, a couple M920q’s or something else?

kinda late but i will still answer for historical reasons. 1. yes, you can disable e-cores 2. yes, m2 cooler is a part of standard configuration 3. yes, with p3 ultra it second x4 slot seem to be 4.0 instead of 3.0 though 4. 185mm is absolute maximum from pcie bracket and till front mesh/metal...

    > This seems to be the best price I'm able to find in EU for refurb machines. most likely no one 'refurbishes' them. try looking for used one. > I can get a lower-specced machine (256GB SSD, 8GB RAM) for 329 euros and then a 64GB kit, wonder if it's worth though considering it comes with the...

5 to 600 euros? for 5 euros for sure. 200 bucks naked machine too. i wouldn't pay 500 euros for i7 8700 + 32gb ram. i9 9900t es costs 130$~ from china or other sellers and is much better choice 512gb ssd is cheap and it is an old used ssd. you can pick 4tb for 160-200$~ depending on sale. 32gb...

can i power lenovo tiny5 by 24v power supply? i am pretty sure that 65w stock psu is more than enough since i did run it at 65w before switching to 135w. i did need atleast some option that has a correct prongs so it has a ground connection (to connect to PDU) and nothing but 135w was available...

that x710 should fit (with front metal piece removed). check previous posts. people did fit x710 in m720q and other variants of tiny5 machines. i can recommend getting 10gtek transceivers in general. good support, good products, been using their products for years. in case of 5gbit - you have to...

    > This is a very good suggestion. I was just stuck on trying to get my x710-t2l to fit into something since it was expensive, but it may be easier to flip it and go your route. regular x710-t2l should fit with front metal support removed on m720q/m920q/m920x/p330tiny (just a screw). which...

do you need copper or fiber? with 10gb your best option is something like x520-da2 (best ever made 10g cards). there is 4 port version that literally has double everything onboard but that is just hotrod in that tiny lenovo 1L machines. so let's say you take something like x520-da2 in...

how much space do we have for m2 heatsink to be mounted on m2 drives like hynix pc801 on back of m920q/m920x/p330tiny ? '0.5mm' heatsink + '0.5mm' thermal pad maybe? trying to make everything run even tiny bit cooler since 10gbe adapters heat up uncontrollably. does not cause issues running 24/7...
