There should probably be a couple of backup threads. For redundancy.

1ru low power J6426 'Nexcom NVR platform' $42.39 each

The nice seller emailed and then called to make sure I understood that the machines were barebones only. He also very kindly turned down my lowball offer of $35 each for 3. 10/10 so far.

1ru low power J6426 'Nexcom NVR platform' $42.39 each

That is a lot of capability for the price! My only real complaint is the lack of a pcie m.2 slot. I'm grabbing 3, they will probably replace existing systems immediately.

While I certainly have my own opinions on politics, energy, AI, the ozone layer, etc, I really appreciate the tight focus these forums typically have on tech and hardware and exploring the outskirts of those.

    Ubiquiti UAP-AC-HD - NEW $79 (Black Friday)

I moved away from ubnt about 6-7 years ago for basically the exact same reasons. Flaky firmware updates way too often, resulting in unreliable network, UI that was half-done and didn't expose the needed functionality, and controllers that barely worked until they just quit working. (Cloud key...

$70 Dual LAN Mini PC w/ i3-1115G4, 8GB, internal PSU

Welcome Frank! I am using two of these. One is running my Home Assistant install and the other is being used for multimedia projection for a local non-profit. I love the design, especially the internal power supply.

Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W 80+ Titanium for $213.92 on Amzaon

I canceled my order for this power supply and am going with the Leadex VII XG 1000W. It's "only" 80 plus gold, but it has better excursion (brief over power limit events) handling which is better suited for the combo of 4090 and AMD 9900X that is planned for it. The 1600W titanium is...

Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W 80+ Titanium for $213.92 on Amzaon

I was just looking at buying the 1200W platinum version of the leadex for $200, this is a no brainer for me. Thanks! Edit: I may have jumped the gun on this one. This design is almost a decade old and is not ATX 3 or PCIe 5 compliant. In particular, hold-up time and transient excursion...

WTB: m.2 to u.2 adapter, prefer the optane pack-in

I'm looking to buy up to 3 m.2 to u.2 adapters. I'm specifically looking for the versions that were included with the retail optane 905p drives because of the direction and total height of the cables coming out of the m.2 part. Most of the 3rd party adapters I have been able to find either...

    Intel Optane 905P 1.5TB on sale $299

Mine came in blister pack only. No box, no m.2 adapter cable. Not a big deal, but a box is pictured, and these came retail with an adapter that I was planning on using.
