I would like to build a 1u rackmount nas enclosure attached to my MS-01. Ideally 16 nvme modules using 2 * 5.25 slots but I havent found a short chassis of 1u with 2 x 5.25 slots yet. If you have any idea for that it would great. The 5.25 to nvme modules I want to use are these : MB873MP-B V2_8...

So I ended up "patching" this terrible design by chamfering the 3 bracket holes, replacing the bolts with m2x16 and putting a 1.5mm spacer between the board and the fan bracket.... I hope this system to be stable but I start having doubts when I see these mistakes but also the various language...

Just purchased my barebone MS-01 (not received yet). I saw about the m.2 limitations (2tb) and height. I was wondering if anyone here tried with the samsung 990 Pro (single sided m.2 ssd) ? It is supposed to drain max 55mW. Also, is it possible to set a raid1 across the 3 m.2 slots in the bios ?
