I had no problems with the epyc and lrdimms, I think is a motherboard problem more than a cpu problem.

You need also to have same capacity, and same rank, dual or single rank, better dual rank, preferably rdimm, dual rank, at least 2666mhz, maybe preferably 2933mhz. I know that ram can overclock, so 2666 mhz can overlook to 2933mhz, but sometimes may not be so stable. So same capacity, same rank...

Even if it works with mixed ram, it is not a good idea! Especially if you want to run LLMs or other things, this can affect the memory performance! You will not notice, but it can affect bandwidth , latency , speed! So the best is to use same type of ram, even if not from the same vendor, but...

hi, mines worked from the start, fw gxa0, i'm not sure what is different are there two partitions on each ssd ? not sure if it makes a difference, if you need first to format/delete each partitions, and only then format the disk ?! ... maybe there is some protection that activates when trying...
