I'm so sorry that circumstances have forced your hand like this. Are you planning on offloading any hard drives? I'm on the peninsula so I'll be keeping my eye on this thread as well. I wish you the best of luck with your family's health.
The fellow stated that he had a warehouse up in Yakima and was bringing them down that night to Kennewick (where the listing was posted). I met him at a modest residence and he had a pile of them in his garage. The entire endeavour didn't last more than three minutes, but he seemed friendly...
I can confirm that I ordered two locally last night and picked them up today. They're still sealed in the retail packaging so I'm not too worried about the contents.
I would kill for noise and real-world power data on these boxes. At 125 watt typical power with no modules and only three 40mm fans, I worry it wouldn't be possible to swap with Noctuas for small rooms.
Has anyone got noise and power data on these? Looks like a great way to condense some SC-846s but, as Fritz says, I worry they sound like a rocket launch in operation.
Edit: From a prior STH post: loud.

Since I'm on the hunt for the network board, I might as well drum up some foot traffic by releasing a mirror of the Post-Production Service Pack for Proliant (SPP) Version Gen9.0. This is the latest support-contract-only EC200A SPP from April 8, 2022. You can confirm the SHA-256 hash as...
I use a couple of SC846s with sets of Noctua iPPC 2000 fans. They have great static pressure and airflow for the noise, much more than the standard Noctua line. If you remove the default fan wall, you can ziptie three 120mm fans together in its place. For DAS chasses, you can run a second set...
