    Can confirm, with the H11DSI and ES/QS 7742 cpus you MUST have both cpus in to boot. I seem to recall the 05 skus are capable of booting a single cpu, but I havent taken my 05 out of production to test. the 04 sku will not boot in a single config

    nah. What my guess is asus boards let you ignore the ppt of epycs and lets them boost harder. Would explain why they set so many records with those boards when they launched them.
