I don't think the power pins from the M.2 slot on those adapters are connected. At least on the ones I have, U.2 SSDs will not power on unless the power cable is connected.
And even if it were, powering 4 SSDs plus the carrier could be too much for a single M.2 slot.
Use the connector if it has it.
Good deal?

I finally got my 2 PM1633 drives.
Unfortunately, it seems like one of them might be in danger of the 32k bug. Not sure...
I've been trying to find firmware for these without luck and was wondering if someone had copies of versions not affected by the bug.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Oh, they're impersonating server part deals in that listing.

I can run a few tests while I have it on the...
You can send a message to Tugm4470. He's an active member here. I'm not sure if the shipping discount is still valid but he can answer that question and suggest some options for you.
My first EPYC system was this exact combo purchased from Tugm4470. I bought the cooler from him as well. It's...
My two just arrived. Not sure if these are affected by the 32k/40k bug. I haven't seen concrete information that they are.

Same here, I got too greedy. It was sold out before I could do another offer. I wish the seller had sent me a counteroffer.
Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
Looks like NA54 is the latest firmware and it fixed the issue on these drives:
