silly question i know but what are you doing with these? a 970 pro or optane is faster these days right?
wow dodgy business
i am being argumentative here, but 10GBE has been around for 15 years. shouldnt all 10gbe be cheap as chips now? look at the price of a 15 year...
what sort of scam are these companies running that require licenses for ports? is it to kill the second hand market?
that would make it exciting! nowhere on that ad does it say 10gbe let alone 40gbe. it just says "1GbE RJ45 Switch with 8× 1GbE"
why does anyone get excited about these since they are 1gbs? seems expensive
i know they are new on ebay for $600USD. i am looking for something cheaper. any where to buy used? ebay doesnt yet seem to have used scalables....
There are some cheap scalable cpus around now. But no cheap motherboards.
Anyone know where to find under $600USD dual scalable boards?
if it says only works in the SuperServer, how do you try it?
what would be the solution for the drive bays?
rofl, is that all? who knows how to do such a thing as microcode??
i am surprised. thought it would be smarter these days.
can anyone confirm that? seems like it would not matter at all what is in each cpu. maybe same QPI required at most.
wow ive always wondered when we would see 1u 4 proc. this is the first one ive ever seen, been looking for years. i think i have a thread on here...
amazing thanks for the update
why do you only have one main server? add another one.
wow its weird i can not find that from searching from australia. but it says international shipping. Ebay is hiding special treats!
Congrats. where did you get those 28 core chips?
its a shame there are no cheap SM dual socket motherboards.
judging by his Titan V's I assume he just bought retail 8180s  lol
anyone ever try ES in HP BL460c blades?
