    CWWK/Topton/... Nxxx quad NIC router

Hello, two things to share: If anyone was thinking to power their N100 off the PoE switch using PoE splitter (spoiler, I refused this idea after tests) I have made video about that, comparing few PoE splitters, PSUs, calculating some things etc... if tl;dw go to these chapters :) 23:03...

Fans sized 25/30/40mm are 10mm thick. I was thinking about 30 or 40mm, but I will see how temps I will have without fan.

another solution is to put small fan inside case next to ssd and ram. I have asked crucial for ram operating temperatures and they replied me up to 85 celsius degrees :) But with SSD I would like to stay under 60.

I used 2 port version because its all what you need, you don't bridge interfaces to make switch* One is ethernet input, one is ethernet output and thats all, proxmox things will be separated using vlans (on output port) this hardware is not replacing router/switch, it can act just a firewall...

Not sure if sheet is good choice, In my 2 port there is only a typical laptop small cpu island with igpu island But, between cpu and aluminium casing I have Copper plate which had very thin layer of thermal paste between copper and aluminium casing, copper plate is same size as whole cpu...

People are getting bios updated because they have maybe older/poorer BIOS version missing few settings, from my side, I think Im too lazy for bios tweaks to let it draw little less (will see when ill setup it for "production") Most important is to change thermal paste because by default you...

Well if i would search for a connection, heat goes up -> new heatsink at the top :p whole box cooler -> ram cooler But I meant maybe some RAM heatsinks or something? not sure if RAM gets hot, I think no, what's more, VRAM on GPU can stand pretty high temperatures.

It seems its nvme pcie 3.0x4 because DD for Samsung 970 pro shows 2.7GB/s which is over 1,8GB/s (2 lanes cap) I believe that bios version has a lot with ram compatibility - I remember with my PC on Z790 bios updates regarding memory compatibility About 9 pcie lanes, Yes, thats interesting...

I just have finished playing with my CWWK n100 2 ethernet port version - CW-X86-P5(N100) Few things: It is soo tiny... hard to put usb stick with logitech dongle and hdmi cable.. I have replaced thermal paste between CPU and copper block and between copper block and casing (there was whole...

Guys, I will have 2.5g POE switch Did anyone tried POE splitter and powering N100 with it? :) I was thinking about connecting two N100 boxes to one power supply to get more efficiency, but then realised that POE switch has 120W budget which would be too happy if will be used in at least 20% :)

    CWWK/Topton/... Nxxx quad NIC router

Thank you very much for that many details, I bought same, the very mini version with 2 ethernet ports, less ports/things = less power consumption When it will run too hot I can easily add black heatsink on the top, planning to have 2 of them so I could do it with one beefy 180x90 heatsink and...

Uh, I can't decide which CWWK version I should get... All I need is 2 ethernets and fanless, going for pfsense bare-metal, with 2gbps pppoe, I'm aware of temps... And there is.. 2 ports - is this fan necessary...
