So i fixed my CPU issue. If anyone else has problems, I think it was some rouge tuneables or junk in my config. I have been migrating my backup from a long while back across different hardware.
I did a fresh in stall and just imported a couple of specific settings and now it is working correctly
Its really odd, its almost like proxmox is miss representing the CPU usage. Top in the CLI shows what would appear to be typical usage, but the WebGUi and Proxmox show 90-100%

I have passthrough the nics using the guide on STH.
I have also configured it to use host CPU and q35.
I am seeing 100% CPU usage when i download a large file. I am on a gigabit connection and achieve those speeds but then the CPU...
What driver have you installed? Sometimes the 43 error is due to the drivers inside the VM.

I read somewhere about MS update installing the wrong one or an older one...
Have a look at this post, it has some addtional commands related to hdmi which you add to the boot parms.

Seems like the best way of doing it as it enables you to pass it through to 7 different VMs and keep it for the host.
