I agree with this to an extent. Wifi 5 is certainly at this stage where the second hand market will offer some good bargains.
But Wifi 7 hasn't been widely adopted by the masses as yet to make Wifi 6E equipment that cheap on the second hand market.
Also, with the prices of Wifi 7 equipment...
Most clients I managed to look up are 2x2, so I'm not sure that a 4x4 would benefit those.
My personal assessment is that nothing replaces a hardwired connection where needed. If I can get close to gigabit speeds over wifi for the other use cases, that's fine for me.
I have used the wax630 for over a year and it's been rock solid, so this should be fine.
Make sure to select the option for the included power adapter and use promo code "game10" for the additional 10% off.

edit: looks like there a m.2 slot on there too.
I could be wrong but I believe this is powered with a 4+4 pin cable.
The coolmaster nc100 has nothing special. The only think I noted was a 10 pin power cable but the compute unit has a 8 pin visible.
The benefit of buying the special chassis would be for use of the additional pcie lanes to...
I've seen some 3.84TB SATA drives recently at around the same price too.
While these prices aren't great, they're still much better than a couple months back.
Has anyone experienced an issue where if the temperature exceeds the threshold the drive reports as failing smart, even when rebooted and temperature is back to normal?
