In seller CPU-Z screenshots they show L3 cache 16x16MB (256 MB) but in this benchmark Giga Computing MZ73-LM0-000 - Geekbench it shows only as 16x8MB (128MB). Also seems they have lower base clock 1.90 GHz compared to 2.25 GHz AMD EPYC 9754 and seems performance is lower aswell.
I'm also building AI server right now and I've similar dilemma :D I'm still learning myself so don't really know but my impression is that if you don't plan to offload to CPU and just stick to GPUs then I think it doesn't really matter and don't need much RAM. So I think get less faster RAM and...
Does anyone have any experience with these AMD EPYC 9754 ES (100-000000946-01) ?
I found it for $1000 - Server Amd Epyc 9754 Es C Cpu - Buy 100-000000946-01 epyc 9754 Es server Amd Product on Alibaba.com
But question is would it work? Is it vendor-locked? Does it have PCIe lines cut?
Price seems...
That's only 2U so I think you only can fit 2-slot GPUs but a lot of gaming GPU's are like 2.9 or even bigger so most likely they won't fit there right?
Hello,
I'm looking for 4-5U GPU server with space for atleast 4 PCIe dual-slot GPUs based on AMD EPYC.
Something like ASUS ESC8000A-E11 would be ideal.
I might be able to find chassis/motherboard so also looking for AMD EPYC CPUs and DDR4 RAM.
Thanks!
