oculink to pcie3 X4 slot problems

Maybe this helps you. I reached out to Supermicro support regarding a pinout diagram for the CBL-SAST-0956 as I wanted to figure out why my previous cables from Micro SATA Cables didn't work. This is what they sent me. Unfortunately I didn't have time to further investigate the issue for now.

oculink to pcie3 X4 slot problems

If that's still relevant, I had the same problem with this board, two Micron 7450 Max and cables from Micro SATA Cables. After some back and forth with ASRock Rack support it seems like they have implemented a weird OCuLink pinout. After some further research and about half a year later I got...

    Asrock Rack W680 Motherboards discussion

Thought I'd post this here if anyone with the same issue stumbles across this thread. I have an ASRock Rack W680D4U-2L2T/G5, Intel Core i5-12600K, 2x Micron 32 GB DDR5-4800 ECC UDIMM, Google Coral TPU M.2 B+M Key, Intel X710-DA2, LSI SAS 9211-4i, 2x Seagate IronWolf Pro 8 TB, Seagate SkyHawk AI...

Compatible memory for ASRock Rack W680D4U-2L2T?

I agree, the board is almost unreasonable expensive but it has been rock solid for about half a year now. Unfortunately I couldn't get hands on the W680D4U-2L2T which can be configured to either have one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot or two PCIe 4.0 x8 slots, that's why I got the newer W680D4U-2L2T/G5...

Compatible memory for ASRock Rack W680D4U-2L2T?

My reason to go the Intel Core route was actually similar to yours. I wanted ECC, Quick-Sync-Video and only needed a few cores to run two VMs, maybe a third if necessary. I went with the 12600K because it wasn't significantly more expensive than the 12500 (which was the minimum requirement for...

Compatible memory for ASRock Rack W680D4U-2L2T?

I have a W680D4U-2L2T/G5 and I'm running two sticks of MTC20C2085S1EC48BR (Micron 32GB DDR5-4800 ECC UDIMM 2Rx8 CL40 | MTC20C2085S1EC48BR | Crucial.com). Be aware that whether or not the board supports ECC depends on the CPU.
