Unable to get Supermicro X10SRH-CF mobo to power on/post properly

OK, so I got a new MB in, resolved issue, posting cleanly now. Glad to know it was a faulty mobo, figured from the initial damage I should have known better and not held out hope. Anyone know what the latest Supermicro LSI SAS3 download page is at these days? I seem to have misplaced the url...

Unable to get Supermicro X10SRH-CF mobo to power on/post properly

Fairly certain I have a dead mobo, I can access the IPMI via an isolated test vlan/subnet and see it pickup a DHCP addy, acces it and I see this nonsense (old system build info/NO sensors reading) WTF Toast would you all concur? Start w/ a new/replacement/non-damaged mobo?

Unable to get Supermicro X10SRH-CF mobo to power on/post properly

Afternoon everyone, busy stranger popping back into the fray seeking help :-D I've been focused heavily on the software side of the house (PaaS/Kubernetes) the last few years so I may be rusty WRT my hardware chops but this just has me feeling silly. So a few weeks back picked up a X10SRH-CF...

    Fishing...any TIG stack guru's around?

Flailing around here trying to get 'what I thought to be' a fairly simple Telegraf/InfluxDB/Grafana stack going. Before I go into too much detail do we have any 'in the trenches' guru's round' here prior to me going into a novel. It's late or rather early morning here and imma bout to flog...

    DEAD: HGST SSD1600MM - HUSMM1640ASS201 - 400GB US $47.95 OBO

Oh you won't hear me try to argue against that. Ya remember a couple yrs back when I posted the $99 400Gb hussl's and a ton of folks went nuts/were mind blown...well buddy ya'll just 'one up'ed' me :p Insane that newer gen hgst sas3 v.s. sas2 ssd devs are almost 1/2 that cost now w/ this...

    DEAD: HGST SSD1600MM - HUSMM1640ASS201 - 400GB US $47.95 OBO

These things are addicting for sure (trust me I went through a hussl phase, then a husmm phase)...for all us slummin' it up and not all in on NVMe just yet I've always said hard to beat these tanks. You guys are next level though, 70 devs at a time...10 spares, I've yet to have one fail on me...

    DEAD: HGST SSD1600MM - HUSMM1640ASS201 - 400GB US $47.95 OBO

Figured I'd throw this in here in case anyone wants the 'easy button' fix. Thought I saw it 'somewhere' in the thread but I must be blind cause I can't find it now. To remove Type 2 data protection simply issue the following cmd using the sg3_utils suite/utilities, I've done this via CentOS7...

Got my 4 today, 19AUG2017, looking like brand new/spares, have not placed in system yet and sg_formatted but hell maybe it isn't even necessary if they are already 512, need to read more on this type 2 protection thang I suppose. Stellar deal, will be pairing up w/ 4 others I have to make my...

    DEAD: HGST SSD1600MM - HUSMM1640ASS201 - 400GB US $47.95 OBO

Insane deal IMHO, I know a lot of folks are into that NVMe 'hotness' but these are sooo rock solid. 18-24 months ago I was plopping down $140 per drive of this model so ummm yeah STEAL.

    Best value rackmount UPS suggestions

Ended up with the SMT2200RM2U, mint condition, batteries good, no outer rack rails (gave me a uni rack rail kit though), all and all I am happy w/ it for $150, no network module (empty slot), guy swapped out plug on the end for me prior to arriving. it's running a test workload for now until I...

    Best value rackmount UPS suggestions

Indeed I saw that maybe an hour after and noticed the step up from the 1500 to the 2200 changed that over from std nema 5-15p to nema 5-20p. Believe they make an adapter or I can re-wire 5-15p up. I DO have a 20 amp circuit on my 1/2 rack stack and only three 2U servers, ICX6610 switch, and...
