So I have been looking for an NBASE-T/MGBASE-T switch with a decent amount of ports (16+). So far all I have come across is the USW-EnterpriseXG-24 and the WS-C3850-24XU. I was wondering if anyone had some other options they could suggest.
Ideally I am looking for cheaper than these two...
Thanks for the response. I ended up going with a standard PCIe version of the S3008 since the AOM cards were either much more expensive or were a version that just had the controller with no ports on the actual card.
I am trying to decide between the following two sas raid cards for a server build (assuming they both actually fit my motherboard, its hard to tell if the connector is the same, unfortunately the only one SM lists is an S3108 model which doesn't do IT mode)
AOM-S3008M-L8 and AOM-S3216-L-2...
It looks like those might be the same, unfortunately SM doesn't seem to have a mapping of those part numbers to the equivalent MCP part numbers. I might just have to pick them up and test once the chassis arrives.
I am keeping my eyes peeled, atm the cheapest I have seen is like $10/ea which seems like a lot, especially since I have seen other part numbers go for like $80 for a lot of 40
Possibly a stupid question, but I am looking to put together a supermicro server here soon and am looking at a case listing that does not come with trays. It looks like there are a lot of different part numbers for 3.5" trays from supermicro, are they all the interchangeable?
