    I agree, I can't tell you how much Dell gear just was ewasted out of the Datacenter I use. They had pallets of them....and so many cisco N9xxx 48port switches. Like...waaaaay more than I would have thought a client would put in a Datacenter. :eek: Also, did you figure out the RAM speed...

    Just throwing it out there but you might want to check fleabay - R730 are hitting ewaste levels and around sub $300 each. *might check if they ram speed as 2666 or 3200 (highly doubt it) would be your real money. 32GB 2133 or 2400 are like $20 a stick or less now.

    Yes. Update - might be switching to Promox. I have zero issues so far with passing the PCIE devices through to my VMs and getting full speeds (Gen 3) Anyone know to check what sector size the drives are using?

    I'll boot up in win 11 and see if I can figure out what it shows. Not a bad idea. I can format these with minitool partition wizard in Win 11.
